Princeton is the cultural, commercial and educational center of Mercer County.
A university town of historical heritage, Princeton has two components: the Borough, which encompasses the town center, and the Township, a 5 by 3 mile area encircling the Borough. Located 50 miles from New York and Philadelphia, bound by the Route 1 Corridor on one side and rural countryside on the other, the Township is unique in its location. The population of Princeton Borough is 13,684 and the population of Princeton Township is 17,353.
Housing -Princeton offers diverse housing choices from older in-town houses to larger properties in well-established neighborhoods. Recent condominium development has added to the range of possibilities. Uniformly attractive housing in a college-town context creates a special living environment.
